The 5 Cutest Cafés In The Marais

During my time in Paris, I fell in love with wandering around the Marais and spending my afternoons exploring the cafés there “working” away (eating cookies and drinking lattes), so I’ve got a comprehensive list of my favourites in this gorgeous area of Paris.

Fragments

This café has become incredibly popular lately, so expect queues, particularly on weekends. However, I do think their brunch is totally delicious, along with their coffee.

Neighbours

I think Neighbours does some of the best brunch food in Paris – the variety is incredible and they have really interesting flavour combinations. The staff are also super friendly. It’s a little place though, so it does fill up.

Wild & The Moon

This is a super healthy juicery and salad bar was my favourite place to head after a night out, as I could totally revive myself with a fresh juice and a yummy salad. They also do healthy desserts – the chocolate macaroon is my personal favourite! The Marais branch is on my favourite road in this area of Paris too, rue Charlot, so is definitely worth a visit.

Cafe Pinson

This vegetarian café/restaurant is a great option if you want to meet a friend for a coffee and delicious cake or cookie, but is equally perfect for a healthy, light dinner. Their vegetable curry is so smooth, and I also love their hummus appetiser. You can’t leave without trying their chocolate fondant!

Strada Cafe

I love this café – there’s also a great one in the buzzy university-filled 5eme, but the one in the Marais is a little smaller and more quaint. They do delicious banana bread and you can sit there working away on your laptop for hours.

If you’re planning a trip to Paris, or are just dreaming of wandering around the Marais (which I have found myself doing), I hope this list has given you a bit of inspiration!
